Nature:  He is trained for working.  He is weighing about 2000 lbs and

is intimidating in size.  However, he is very gentle and friendly and at times protects the smaller cows from the occasional bully.  In herd status Bhima is in upper level management due mostly to size.  Like the rest of the herd he is

just lovable and sweet.

Nature:  She is gentle and very introspective.  She does not belong to the “break out club” and is always content to make do with whatever comes her way.  She is always a joy to visit out on pasture as she is always very peaceful. Her association would be a calming influence on her adopter.

Nature:  Gita is a friendly gentleman. He watches over the herd looking out for their welfare with compassion and kindness. Whenever a human comes to the barn or field, he follows them around to observe everything they do. However, when he eats his grains everyone leaves him alone as he will push them away with his big horns. He and his late brother Vraja are ISCOWP's first rescued animals and first ox team.

Herd Status: Lower Level Management
Nature: Her Jersey mother was saved from the slaughterhouse. She was born in New Vrindavan about 6 months after her mother was bought from the dairy who was selling off their herd. She is a bit of a loner and has her moods.  Sometimes she is very friendly and affectionate and sometimes she just wants to be left alone to do her own thing.  Dwadasi is generally a good cow but can also be found with the breakout crew savoring the “greener” grasses on the other side of the fence.

Herd Status: Lower Level Management
Nature: He is trained for working and is very capable on the job. He is gentle and honest in disposition.  He is an observer and patient, never asserting himself over the smaller cows in the herd.  When it is time to change pasture and the herd is called to come, he will bellow repeatedly also calling his herd mates to come to the new pasture.  It is always a pleasure to be with Ganda as he has no hidden agendas in his personality.
